17 April 2019, Singapore-based AI company 6Estates proudly announces the appointment of the distinguished researcher in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Academician Zhang Bo to be its Chief Scientist.
Professor Zhang Bo works in Tsinghua University as the Professor of Computer Science Department and director of AI Institute. He is also recognised as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Being one of the pioneers in China AI field, he introduced mathematical method in AI. His abundant research experiences cover Neural Network, Wavelet Analysis, Pattern Recognition and many more. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the China Computer Society, he was awarded for Lifelong Achievement Award by Chinese Computer Society in 2015.
Since 6Estates was founded, Academician Zhang has been coaching us and witnessing our growth throughout the journey. With this appointment, Academician Zhang will provide us with his guidance on state-of-the-art AI technologies from research community, and lead us to further advance our core AI technology including Natural Language Understanding, Explainable Neural Network, Knowledge Graph and Knowledge Reasoning. Furthermore, 6Estates will foster the collaborations with AI Institute of Tsinghua University with aim to facilitate the application and commercialization of advanced AI technology in China and Southeast Asia.
